Top 5 Reunion Memories

Getting to go to WDW Today Podcast’s Reunion is an amazing experience. It’s a gathering of Disney fans from all over the world, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves Disney World. I wrote a glorious three-hour finale, but I only have a minute and a half, so here it goes!

#5   Helping Paul Experience the Magic

merryWe had our good friend Paul come with us to share in the magic. He has only been to Walt Disney World a few times, and most of those times were not nearly as magical as our adventure! He had never heard of the WDW Today podcast before the trip. Paul found himself quickly falling in love with the people in the community, as well as the culture!

#4 Testing A Touring Plan

Test A Touring Plan Meet was a lot of fun, and we exceeded their expectations! We were lucky enough to have Jennifer Teig Von Hoffman of StudiosCentral.com on our team, which helped us make very good tactical decisions.

testaDuring this meet, I accidentally left my annual pass at the Space Mountain FastPass kiosk. I didn’t realize this until it was nearing the end of the meet. While we were riding on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, I looked on Twitter, and seen that someone had tweeted at me. He saw my pass on top of the FastPass machine, recognized my name from Twitter, and kindly gave my pass to a cast member. I was excited that someone from the community would be nice enough to do that.

#3 Face to face with the famous

I got to meet so many famous community members like Mike Scopa, Mike Newell, Michelle Scribner-MacLean, Fred Hazelton, Lou Mongello, Annette Owens, Deb Wills, Steve Barrett, and Beci Mahnken. It was really cool to get to talk to many of these great people at length during Reunion. I also really enjoyed hanging out with Matt Hochberg and Len Testa whom I already met previously.

#2 Running With AllEars

On the final morning of the trip, Paul and I got up to go running with the AllEars team. While walking up to the meet, Mike Scopa called allearsout to us. He was telling members of AllEars about the magical night we had the night before. During the previous night, at the MEI Mouse Fan Travel party, I won a Disney World trip! It was really cool being introduced to so many people by someone who I’ve been listening to for over 5 years!

#1 New Friends

Introducing myself, and being introduced to tons of people that “get it”, is the number one memory to me. I couldn’t be more grateful for the chance to make so many new friends that share the same love for the magic!

If it weren’t for all of these awesome people coming together in Disney World, there would be no Reunion. For this, I am very appreciative to have won a trip for four to Disney World! The trip will be used to celebrate my upcoming wedding with my groomsmen. Till then, thank you for reading.

Stay strong, stay healthy, stay tuned, and never back down!win
